Haddonfield Alumni Society MissionA small group of alumni gathered in 1992 to form the Haddonfield Alumni Society, and came to fruition the next year with an elected board of trustees and officers to manage the organization. With over 14,000 members, the HAS is dedicated to fostering a sense of pride, community and continuity among former members of Haddonfield Public Schools. Through mentoring, support of the school system and scholarship programs, the Society strives to enrich the experience of students currently enrolled in Haddonfield schools. The HAS has not been without its losses. Peg Geiges-Tarbell, HMHS '46, suffered an untimely death in 1994. Peg was president during the formation of the society and a major factor in its initial success. Harvey Searle, class of 42, passed away in 1995. Harvey was a HAS founder and the driving force behind the establishment of the society's Lifetime Achievement Hall of Fame. Alumni Society GoalsThe primary goals of the Haddonfield Alumni Society are to build and maintain an up to date database of all students who have attended the Haddonfield School System and to foster supportive contact and networking among present and former students of Haddonfield public schools.
