2021 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient

Lisa Weissenberger Wolschina

Back to Recipients

At HMHS, Ms. Wolschina lettered in tennis and track and field, served as a class officer, and was inducted into the National Honor Society.  She went on to Princeton University ’93 where she majored in history.  She later completed her MA in education at Rutgers New Brunswick, graduating in 1995. (Honors)

After graduation, Lisa returned to her alma mater to teach high school social studies, coach cheerleading, advise the freshman class and moderate the Interact Club.  She served at HMHS from 1994-2000.  During her tenure, she was much loved by her students and appreciated by her colleagues for her intellect and extraordinary empathy and compassion.

In 2000, Lisa became a mom and made some life changing decisions. She gave thoughtful consideration to what occupation might allow her to achieve that better balance between work and family.   She chose real estate where she has exemplified exceptional achievement over the past twenty years. Professionally, Lisa manages her own branch of Keller Williams Real Estate in Haddonfield. Ms. Wolschina has been honored with the very highest level of achievement per the New Jersey Association of Realtors.  She earned the NJAR Circle of Excellence Award consistently from 2007-2020. She has been the perennial leader in sales production and dollar volume for all of Camden County and the leading female realtor as well.  Lisa is nationally ranked in the top 100 realtors in Keller Williams; an organization that has over 500,000 realtors.  She is also among the top 8 realtors in the tri-state region (New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware).  A platinum level producer every year since 2013, she is on track to sell over $100 million dollars of real estate by the end of 2021.  She employs a staff of 10 realtors, and her branch agents have consistently been recognized for their volume.  In the past calendar year, her agency has outperformed her nearest Haddonfield competitor by a more than two to one margin.

Lisa’s career has involved surviving and thriving in a very competitive market.  Haddonfield has many reputable, long-established, real estate firms. Those firms are trusted and recognized for their integrity and their dedication to their clients.  When Lisa transitioned into real estate in 2002, many saw her as a local girl, one of their neighbors. She built her reputation every day, with every interaction. Growing her agency into the top realty office in Haddonfield in annual transactions required endurance, tenacity, and perseverance. Her success is evidence of her savvy business prowess.

Katherine Conroy, her colleague at Keller Williams said this about Lisa’s role as a leader and mentor:  “As I entered into a new profession, I could not have asked for a better mentor. Lisa has guided me and supported me throughout my career and I am only as successful as she has taught me and helped me to become. She is always there for advice and is genuinely invested in me as a person, agent, and friend. Our whole team relies on her for direction, guidance and advice and support. Our profession is full of stumbling blocks and kinetic transactions and her experience and gentle nature is key to all of her agents being successful. Each one of us have come from differing previous professional backgrounds and Lisa is a major reason we all feel so confident and have enjoyed success.“

Ms. Wolschina is among that very special group of businessmen and businesswomen of Haddonfield who are dedicated to giving back to the community.  Lisa serves as a board member of the Haddonfield Educational Trust and the Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust.  For both of those organizations she has volunteered to host fundraising events in her home on multiple occasions. Lisa supports these events by both her personal contributions as well as her significant network of friends and colleagues. That network turns out for these events and often contribute music, food, sound systems whatever is needed to ensure the success of the event.

Many non-profits in Haddonfield often turn to Lisa for their first line of support. She has been a primary sponsor of “Women in the Arts” for the Haddonfield Fortnightly and a regular sponsor of the Haddonfield Educational Trust Golf Tournament .  During the past year alone, Lisa’s philanthropic efforts included sponsoring the Healthy Running Series for Kids 2021, co-sponsoring the Ndotto sculpture with Joe Murphy, and supporting the HMHS Drama Club livestream event.   Recently, at the start of the school year, Lisa organized a fundraiser to collect school supplies for local children in need.  She does this annually working directly with school administrators so that the identities of the children are kept confidential.

Lisa has also been involved in myriad individual volunteer activities including cooking for the Ronald McDonald house; collecting prom dresses for high school students in need; and shopping for, donating and delivering food to needy families during the pandemic.  Her efforts in this area are tireless and her impact enormous in our small community.

Lisa is married to her high school classmate, Chris ’89.  They have three children: Cameron, 21, a senior in pre-Med at Fordham University; Mack, 18, a freshman at Syracuse; and Logan, 14, a freshman at HMHS.
